Before boat club dinner and after Saturday of Summer Eights, the boat club was privileged to have a champagne reception made possible by the legacy of Christopher Dodwell. Christopher was born in 1919 and matriculated at St Peter’s Hall in 1938, where he read History, less than 10 years after its formation in 1929. He had very happy memories of rowing for the College.
